The wait is finally over — The Hurt Arms is officially reopening, and we’re celebrating in style with an unforgettable opening weekend packed with delicious food, live entertainment, outdoor bars, family activities, and plenty of sunshine vibes.

Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, drinks in the beer garden, live music, or a full family day out, there’s something happening all weekend long at one of Derbyshire’s favourite destinations.

Here’s everything you need to know about the exciting reopening celebrations at The Hurt Arms.

Friday 15th May – Official Opening Day

We officially open our doors from 12pm for food and drinks in both the restaurant and bar.

 Please note: Our restaurant is fully booked from 4pm onwards, so we recommend joining us earlier or enjoying the fantastic outdoor festivities instead.

From 2pm, our beautiful outdoor spaces come to life — and with blue skies and sunshine forecast, there’s no better place to spend your Friday afternoon and evening.

What’s happening outdoors on Friday?

• Smash & Dough food trailer serving incredible street food
• Outdoor bars open from 2pm
• Live music from 3:30pm until 9pm
• Giant inflatables and Disney characters for the kids throughout the afternoon and evening
• Relax in our stunning beer gardens with friends and family

The Hurt Arms opening day is set to be one of the biggest local events of the weekend, bringing together great food, entertainment, and an unbeatable atmosphere.

Saturday 16th May – Live Music & Family Fun All Day

Start your Saturday with breakfast at The Hurt Arms, served from 8am until 11am.

Our main menu will then be available from 12pm until 8:30pm.

Please note: The restaurant is fully booked from 2pm onwards, but our outdoor areas will be open and buzzing all day long.

Saturday outdoor entertainment includes:

• Smash & Dough trailer open from 12pm
• Outdoor bars serving drinks all day
• Live music from 1pm right through until 9pm
• Kids entertainment throughout the day
• Outdoor seating, drinks, food, and family-friendly fun

Sunday 17th May – Sunday Dining & Relaxed Outdoor Vibes

Finish the weekend with a laid-back Sunday celebration at The Hurt Arms.

Sunday opening times:

• Breakfast served from 8am – 11am
• Sunday menu available from 12pm – 6:30pm

From midday onwards, our outdoor entertainment and food service begin once again, creating the perfect Sunday atmosphere.
